About Us

We currently operate four limestone quarries, eleven plant operations, thirty two sand and gravel operations, four portable plants, three rail terminals in southern lower peninsula. Through our locations, we offer limestone and other aggregates, a complete line of MDOT, ODOT, commercial, and agricultural materials.

We also work with our sister companies, Michigan Paving & Materials, Cadillac Asphalt, and The Shelly Company to provide materials for road construction and paving jobs across Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana.

We make it a point to focus on safety in our daily work. Nothing is more important to us than ensuring all our workers return home safe to their families at the end of every workday.

Community involvement is also a cornerstone of our business model. Our goal is to not only serve our communities, but to help them grow and thrive. We support local charities by taking part in fundraisers and community events. We also dedicate ourselves to the education of our local communities, by supporting YMCA groups, 4-H groups, and offering school tours of our facilities so children can learn about the rock cycle.

We strive to be a responsible neighbor by maintaining clean, environmentally friendly, and efficiently operated quarries and pits. This includes cleaning and maintenance campaigns at all our locations, and the installation of butterfly gardens and other eco-friendly green spaces on our properties.
